It's about people.
Are you a professor teaching (or thinking of teaching) your subject in English? Guess what: you're not alone! There are hundreds just like you. This event is about getting EMI professors together so that you can network and learn from each other.
At the 1st Brazilian EMI Seminar, which will be held at UFPR in Curitiba (Brazil), you will have an opportunity to hear reports from other EMI professors about what they are doing in their EMI classrooms. You will also have a chance to interact with other professors through dynamic networking activities. And you will learn. Specialists in design and assessment will get you thinking about innovative ways to present information and evaluate success in EMI contexts. And the plenary speakers, who represent important institutions and government initiatives, will talk about what is happening across Brazil in terms of EMI and language policy in general. The event is 100% free. Just make sure you register because places are limited! |
